In Sunday’s episode of Bigg Boss 8 Telugu, Nagarjuna introduced a new twist by dividing the housemates into two teams—Shakti and Kantara. The teams faced off in a “Picture Oddity” task, testing their attention to detail.
The Battle Begins
Prithvi from the Shakti team quickly set the tone, answering the first question correctly and energizing the team with a dance performance to the “Bullet” song. Vishnupriya, feeling a bit envious, was given the chance by Nagarjuna to join Prithvi, and she didn’t disappoint with her dance moves.
The Kantara team, however, gained momentum with Sonia leading them to two correct answers, while the Shakti team faltered. But just as it seemed Kantara would dominate, Shakti rallied with a series of correct answers, tying the game at 4-4. Both teams took on dance challenges during the task, adding excitement to the competition.
Kirak Sita’s Emotional Story Seals the Win for Shakti
With the scores tied, Nagarjuna announced that the team with the best heartbreak story would win. Kirak Sita shared her emotional breakup from a five-year relationship that ended last April, revealing she lost 14 kg due to the pain. Her heartfelt story earned the Shakti team the victory. When Nagarjuna asked if they wanted a gift hamper or prize money, the team opted for the latter.
Nomination Drama and Elimination
Next, Nagarjuna gave a task to the four nominees. Kirak Sita and Prithvi were declared safe, leaving Aditya Om and Shekhar Basha in the hot seat. Contestants were asked to decide who should stay by placing garlands around their necks.
Most housemates, including Prerana, Vishnupriya, and Nikhil, voted for Aditya to stay, leading to Shekhar Basha’s elimination.
As Shekhar left the house, Kirak Sita became emotional, shedding tears over his departure. Aditya and Nabeel carried Shekhar out on their shoulders, while Nikhil comforted a grieving Sita.
Shekhar’s Parting Task: Real vs Fake Contestants
Before leaving, Shekhar Basha was given a final task by Nagarjuna to name three real and three fake contestants. He chose Sita, Vishnupriya, and Prerana as genuine players, complimenting their sincerity and energy.
On the other hand, he labeled Sonia, Manikantha, and Aditya Om as fake, criticizing their gameplay as calculated and inconsistent.
