In today’s episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 8 (September 25), tensions flared as Nikhil, Sonia, and Prithvi isolated, while the rest of the house rallied against them. Nikhil was shocked when no one wanted to join his team, leaving him wondering if there was anything to learn from the situation, not much!
Manikanta stole the show when Sonia made him perform an emotional skit. She asked him to act like he was calling his daughter. Manikantha’s heartfelt cry, “Come, mother of gold,” brought the house down, earning applause for his genuine emotion.
Team Selection Drama
When Bigg Boss asked the contestants to form teams, most chose the Kantara team, leaving Nikhil, Sonia, and Prithvi in the Shakti team.
Even though Prerna and Manikantha initially wanted to join the Kantara team, Manikantha had no choice but to join Shakti. Yashmi volunteered to switch teams, moving to Shakti.
While Sita hoped Nikhil would understand that no one wanted to join his team, Nikhil interpreted things differently. He believed the house was united against him, Sonia, and Prithvi, and even began to suspect Yashmi’s intentions for joining his team.
Bigg Boss shocked the house with the announcement of 12 wild card entries. However, housemates could block these entries by winning challenges, with each victory adding ₹1 lakh to the prize money. The Kantara team won the first challenge, blocking one wild card entry and securing ₹1 lakh.
Jokes and Warnings
Manikantha became the center of jokes when Prithvi teased him, but the housemates didn’t take kindly to Nikhil’s comments about Yashmi not being “one of the boys,” prompting a stern warning from Bigg Boss.
After the Shakti team lost a game, Nikhil was frustrated when the house decided Manikantha should sit out, while Nikhil believed Yashmi should have been sidelined. His suspicion of her continued to grow.
In the final task of the day, a biryani-eating challenge, Nikhil chose Sonia over Yashmi to compete. Despite both teams failing to finish the biryani in time, they were allowed to enjoy the leftovers.
